York trio KING NO-ONE will release their debut EP ‘OOMM’ via Kut / LAB on 29 March 2019 – around their biggest UK headline shows to date. With a rabid fanbase built almost exclusively by word of mouth, this weekend the band completed their latest UK run: selling more than 3,500 tickets in the process and finishing with a landmark show at Manchester’s O2 Ritz venue.
The ‘OOMM’ EP will be the band’s first release longer than a single and features live staples ‘Out of My Mind’ and ‘Lemonade.’ Fans who pre-order the record will get first access to tickets for the new tour on Wednesday, 28 November before general sale begins at 9am on Friday, 30 November. The latest run incorporates a three-night stint in their adopted home city: with shows at Manchester’s Deaf Institute (29 March), Night People (30 March) and Gorilla (31 March) to mark the EP’s release.
Through pure grit, talent and drive King No-One epitomise the modern go-getting DIY culture: conquering the hearts and minds of a huge fanbase with an ethos of equality. The band can boast more than 7 million streams on their small catalogue to date, in addition to regular support across BBC Radio 1, XFM & 6Music.
Fans can pre-order the EP now in a variety of formats and bundles: https://kingnoone.tmstor.es
